Get Building with Studica Robotics

Studica Robotics is an affordable building system that offers a variety of structural & motion components that is used exclusively in WorldSkills & is the choice of many teams in FTC. All Studica Robotics components work easily together so no machine shop is necessary. The unique hole pattern allows for compatibility with many existing building systems allowing you to combine structure and electronics.

FTC Starter Kit

This exciting new kit is intended to give any level FTC team a strong foundation that they can build on. The FTC Starter Kit contains almost 1,250 parts to help you construct your FIRST Tech Challenge robot.

It includes 60+ pieces of lightweight aluminum structure, a multi-mode smart servo, and is compatible with almost any FTC legal motor providing everything your FTC team needs to build a functional chassis with a grabber and lift system.​​​​​

360 Degree LiDAR

The Studica 360 Degree LiDAR is a 2D LiDAR that rotates 360 degrees to achieve high accuracy, stable performance, high-frequency and high-precision distance measurement. It’s ideal for robot navigation and obstacle avoidance. It has a range from 0.2 to 50 m (in a white wall in daylight conditions) with an accuracy in the plus or minus 10 cm range.

Choose your Wheels

Find the wheels you need! Studica Robotics offers a robust variety of wheel options. The Mecanum wheel is made up of 9 rollers set at a 45-degree angle to the axis of rotation. The Omni wheel is made up of 18 small rubber rollers set perpendicular to the axis of rotation. The Drive wheel is a simple wheel that provides good traction on carpet and tile flooring because of polyurethane material.
